Add a bit of green! Seriously. For Atelier Versace, makeup artist Pat McGrath created a smoky eye with a green detail because "Donatella was really obsessed with a neon green metallic that’s in the shoes and in the clothing," McGrath explained to WWD. “So we added just a little strip of eyeliner to the outside of the eyes as a line and a little bit on the inner corners.”
To translate this from runway to everyday (because, let's be honest: who is adding green strips to their eyes?), you gals can blend a hint of dark green liner (applied on the inner bottom rim of your eye) with your black liner. It will perk up your run-of-the-mill smoky eye and is perfect for girls' night out.
What do you ladies think of this makeup tip? Will you incorporate green into your smoky eye routine? Discuss!
