As Valentine’s Day approaches, there will be many men planning romantic evenings with the women they love. Some will even be shopping for engagement rings, mustering up the courage to take that next important step in their lives.
I have to admit that I have a love/hate relationship with diamonds and engagement rings. On the one hand diamonds represent such beauty and clarity. Just like all gemstones, they were put on this earth for us to enjoy and appreciate. Then someone decided to add even more value to diamonds and people began acting like crazy lunatics to find the most beautiful of them all. It’s sad that people will kill for diamonds, but then there are people who will kill for a pair of shoes too.
