Yesterday I picked up this genius brow tip from the MAC folks at the Rebecca Taylor show at Fall 2013 New York Fashion Week.
The makeup artists filled in their brows using two slightly different brow powders.
The theory? One shade can look a little flat and obvious in your brows, but applying two (using feather strokes that look like little hairs in between your actual hairs) gives them dimension. The translation: You get great bone-structure back-up that makes a great frame for eye makeup without looking like you have really heavy, crazy brows. And if blending the two together sounds too complicated, you can try using a slightly darker shade in the inner part where your brows are thicker and switching to the lighter one at the tail.
Genius, right?
