Anne Hathaway showed up at the Costume Designers Guild Awards last night wearing the big makeup trend that came out of Fall 2013 New York Fashion Week: The cat eye. But this wasn't just any cat eye.
You see, this is a cat eye done with eyeshadow. Why this is important? Because the line of the tail isn't crisp, it's about 1,000 times more forgiving than creating a flick at the sides with an eyeliner pencil.
The two secrets to pulling this off: 1) Putting down a little concealer first to give the powder something to stick to and 2) Using a pointed eyeliner brush to apply the liner to give you some precision.
Who's into this idea?
