The greatest thing about a monthly beauty subscription is that you always discover some amazing products that later become your newest obsessions. One favorite that always manages to excite me happens to be Beauty Box 5 because you usually get five wonderful products from sample sizes to full sizes for just $12 a month.
This month's box was one of the best of the several that I reviewed from their company so far for the value and wonderful stash of products. I just loved this assortment.
Here is what I found inside my March 2014 box:
Design Essentials Natural Curl Enhancing Mousse 1.83 oz. (Full size 7.5 oz. retails for $15.99) =($3.90)
Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Base= $18.99 FULL SIZE
Tree Hut Nourishing Hand Cream (Tropical Mango) 3 oz.=$5.29 FULL SIZE
Jane's Pick All Natural Soaps Handmade Bar Soap This is a sample size bar (Full size 5 oz. retails for $10.00) =$2.00
Swissco Dual-Sided Facial Pad=$2.00 FULL SIZE
TOTAL VALUE = $32.18
I never would have known about Design Essentials and this terrific Natural Curl Enhancing Mousse otherwise. This is more of a looser, flowing foam than a thicker consistency mousse, but this stuff brought out my natural curl nicely.
The Bellapierre Cosmetics Makeup Basewas just ideal for my light coloring to use as a foundation. This light beige ivory shade also makes a perfect concealer or illuminator. I loved the portable size for packing in my handbag.
The yummy smell of tropical mango from Tree Hut's Nourishing Hand Cream made it so pleasant to apply while it lovingly cared for my dry hands. The formula with Moroccan argan oil, organic shea butter, mango puree, and vitamins was non-greasy and did a fine job to restore the softness and heal the red from my hands in relatively quick time.
Jane's Pick All Natural Soap was a small handmade bar soap made with essential oils, olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, and herbs among other beneficial ingredients for gently cleansing the skin. I believe the sweet and somewhat woody scent was Patience.
Last in this box, I found the Swissco Dual-Sided Facial Pad. The surface of this pad is a bit too abrasive for a face. Instead, I plan to use it on the rough skin on elbows and feet, where it will come in handy.
I can't wait for next month now. Have you found Beauty Box 5 yet?
Do check Beauty Box 5's website and do some browsing. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter. I think you will love their monthly beauty boxes as much as I do once you start experiencing what they have to offer.
