I had a lightbulb moment at a Clarins skincare event earlier this week. You see, while telling me all about their new anti-aging product (Double Serum Complete Age Control Concentrate) they dropped this little bomb on me:
You're not supposed to rub it into your face. Nope, they say when you're putting on face creams, it's better to pump some onto your palm, rub your hands together to get them coated, and then press the moisturizer gently into your skin. The key here is not to tug 'cause overtime it can cause damage and wrinkles, and, well, that kinda defeats the purpose of using anti-aging products in the first place.
Simple, but it makes sense. And I, for one, will be trying this technique from now on. How 'bout you?
