L'Occitane Shea Butter Fabulous Oil has been my end of winter companion. It's a dry oil in a spray format that absorbs right away, and you can use it both on your body and your hair. I don't always get the best results from dry spray oils, since many of them are not quite as rich as I need (my limbs are bone dry year round), but the thing about this newish L'Occitane product is that it contains 5% shea butter. Shea butter is my friend.
I expected the oil to smell like the rest of L'Occitane's shea butter products, but this one is less nutty and slightly more floral (the product contains fragrance). It's not a strong scent and I forget about it even before I'm fully dressed, so it doesn't clash with my perfume. The oil is very nourishing, so my skin is happy, and stays that way all day long. I'm not as fond of the Fabulous Oil as a hair product, probably because I have much better ones (Aroma M Camellia Oil and Aftelier Elixirs) that give my hair better shine and texture without weighing it down (I think the L'Occitane makes my hair a little limp). Still, as a quick all over hydrating and pampering, a spray oil is a brilliant thing, and this L'Occitane hits the spot.
