I have dark hair that used to be straight and fine but since I've developed my love for big hair I've had it curled every so often that its now a little bit more coarse and wavy, and in one word - frizzy. In my attempts to calm the frizziness and make my head of hair feel a little bit healthier, I've decided to jump into the Moroccan Oil Bandwagon and here's my review of the Moroccan Oil Hydrating Conditioner.
Moroccan Oil Hydrating Conditioner is excellent at moisturising dehydrated hair. It's main ingredient is Argan Oil, which is a derivative of the Argan Tree endemic to Morocco. This special oil has been used as a moisturising oil for the face hair and body, in the treatment of dry skin and burns, and has been incorporated into the Moroccan Oil range. Moroccan Oil Hydrating Conditioner also contains Vitamins A and E.
On first impressions, it smells amazing. It smells of doughnuts. At first I thought it was a little overpowering but I quickly got over it. It's easy to smooth through the hair and it is excellent at detangling. It rinses easily without leaving my hair waxy, and it does not leave a greasy residue. My hair is left soft and reduces frizz. My hair is looks shinier and feels healthier.
I usually wash my hair every other day to prevent it from drying out to a crisp but this is gentle enough for everyday use.
It is sulfate-free, phosphate-free and paraben-free. The price however is far from free - it is hardly budget friendly, but if you can afford it, I would definitely recommend it.
