The latest slightly jazzy nail scheme I'm loving is multicolor neutrals—it's a way to wear a different color on each nail without having your hands feel too flashy for the office. And they're such a fun idea for this week—like a very subtle, sophisticated play on Easter-egg tones.
I wanted to choose colors that were related but not all in the same family (e.g., ombre, which I also like but wasn't going for this time). I played around with a bunch of Essie colors, and when I put the following colors in a row, they felt right to me. Different enough to look cool and interesting but related enough to not look random.
The shade names, left to right:
Essie Island Hopping
Essie Merino Cool
Essie Spin the Bottle
Essie Miss Fancy Pants
Essie Great Expectations (if you can't find this, use OPI Moon Over Mumbai)
