I HAD to use this press image from Avon, because well...you'll see...
You know I can't resist a leopard print! I want those gloves! They don't exactly look warm enough for winter here, but who cares? I'll suffer for a good leopard print!
I've been testing out the new Avon Anew Clinical Absolute Even Skin Tone Corrector ($44.99CAN) for the past couple of weeks, and I'm impressed!
Avon Anew Clinical Absolute Even Skin Tone Corrector addresses 7 types of discolouration:
- dark spots
- uneven skin tone
- post-acne scar marks
- brown patches
- blotchy red patches
- freckles
- sallowness

Being a child of the times when you slathered Johnson's Baby Oil mixed with iodine to get tanned faster( I never did the iodine thing, but my brother did!), I have hyperpigmentation from sun damage all over my face. And there's nothing more aging than uneven skin tone. In fact, that's what really makes you look older. Needless to say, I always incorporate some kind of skin tone corrector into my skin care routine. The problem though, is that most of them make me break out. But I keep using them because I NEED them. It's my skin care Catch 22-damned if I do, damned if I don't.
Avon Anew Clinical Absolute Even Skin Tone Corrector is mild and gentle and I'm happy to report it doesn't break me out! I am saved! I use it after cleansing and before moisturizing twice a day, and my skin tone has been evening out, especially the pesky stripe of sun damage on the top of my left cheekbone. I can definitely tell that's it's lightened when applying my makeup, because I don't need to put on as much concealer anymore.
Avon Anew Clinical Absolute Even Skin Tone Corrector will be available in March from your local Avon by calling 1-800-265-AVON or online at www.avon.ca.
