The lovely Rashida Jones was perfection from the waist up (and from the ankles down) at the Lanvin And Living Beauty event last Friday. It's the pants that I cannot abide. The combination of the metallic fabric and the pleats brings back early 1980s bar mitzvas, but even worse, it does unmentionable to Rashida's beautiful figure. Just about anything would have been better-- a pair of skinny jeans, slim black pants, a naughty miniskirt. But the Lanvin pants need to be burned. To add insult to injury, Rashida's friend in the photo is stylist Brad Goreski (who names Rashida Jones as a client). If that was his work he has some serious explaining to do.
