A Quick Face Washing Tip

We all have our shower routines down pat from childhood: wash hair, apply conditioner, preen and primp from head to toe, wash away conditioner, get out. But here's something to consider: some hair products are notorious pore cloggers and worse (the only time in my teens that I experienced a major breakout was when I used a divine-smelling hair mask).  I've found that it makes a real difference to cleanse my face after washing the conditioner or hair mask out, and I'm especially diligent about it when testing a new hair product. Making sure that there's no hair goop residue on face and neck (using a Clarisonic certainly helps) is an excellent idea if you know or suspect that you've been reacting to something in your hair products, such as my recent issue with coconut oil derivatives.
