After that fall and face plant I think everyone loves JL even more right now. I just watched Silver Linings Playbook a few days ago so I was already thinking she was great, then I saw her on the red carpet and thought she looked every inch the star. Jennifer's makeup is beautiful and not too heavy or ageing, it is the perfect look for a young lady in her 20s to wear for a special occasion. She looks beautiful without being too made up.

- For a flawless matte base use a good long lasting foundation, Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation (£27.40/$36) is ideal.
- Using the flat edge of a sponge contour cheeks with a very small amount of darker foundation, apply in a straight line under the cheekbone and use your fingers to soften the edges.
- Using a brush lightly bronze around the temples and sweep over cheeks, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess (£28) is perfect for a slight matte bronzed glow
- Get Jennifers' flushed contoured cheek with MAC Pinch Me Blusher (£17/$21) applied on the cheekbones.
- Press a finely milled light loose powder over your T-Zone, Jurlique's Rose Silk Finishing Powder (£24.50/$36) is wonderful and matches any skin colour.
Eyes
- Fill in brows with a soft brow pencil and use a clear mascara to hold in place. MAC's new Veluxe Brow Liners (£15/$19.50) are amazing for giving super soft shading to brows without looking harsh.
- Apply the same bronzer up to the brows using a soft blending brush like Mac 217 (£17/$23) and then apply a soft grey eyeshadow to the lid and blend with the same brush running it back and forth and over the lid and crease to soften the edges. Do this a few times to build up the grey colour.
- Sweep a black gel eyeliner like Mac Fluidline in BlackTrack £14 above your lash line taking it to the natural end without a flick. Also bring 3/4 of the way under the eye and run a small pointed clean brush over to soften the gel.
- Add two coats of volumising mascara like Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara (£17/$19.50) to both top and bottom lashes.
Lips
- Line lips with a pencil and match with any soft rose pink lipstick and a bit of gloss in the middle, Rituals Lip Pencil in Sweet (£9) and Rituals Ruby Lipstick in Pink Pepper (£11.50) are lovely.
