My true favourite look from the 2013 Oscars was unquestionably Halle Berry who looked drop dead stunning, I cannot believe this woman is 47 it's frightening! I'm not sure she is even human but we can still try to look like her and her incredible Oscars makeup is actually extremely flattering for all ages, especially for the over 30s and it is very easy to recreate.

Face
Face
- Prep your skin well with a good moisturiser like Clinique Repairwear Uplifting Firming cream (£50/$59.50).
- For a flawless matte base use a good long lasting foundation, Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation (£27.40/$36) is good, however if you have dry skin a creamy tint like Liz Earle Skin Tint (£21) would work much better.
- Halles stunning pink cheeks look amazing, use a cream blusher in a dusky pink colour on the apples of your cheeks sweeping all the way out and up the cheekbone. MAC Cremeblend Blusher in Posey or Brit Wit would work well (£17/$21)
- Press a finely milled light loose powder just over your T-Zone, Jurlique's Rose Silk Finishing Powder (£24.50/$36) is wonderful and matches any skin colour.
Eyes
- Fill in brows with a soft brow pencil and use a clear mascara to hold in place. MAC's new Veluxe Brow Liners (£15/$19.50) are amazing for giving super soft shading to brows without looking harsh.
- Use Clinique Chubby Sticks For Eyes (£16/$16) which couldn't be easier to use! Use 03 Fuller Fudgeall in the socket and 04 Ample amber all over the lid and underneath the eye, also going into the top and bottom inner corners. Blend edges with a soft blending brush like Mac 217 (£17/$23).
- Use a black eye pencil to rim the inner top and bottom waterlines and coat lashes with a volumising mascara like Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara (£17/$19.50).
Lips
- Line lips with a pencil and match with any soft matte lipstick that matches your blusher, Rituals Lip Pencil in Sweet (£9) and Rituals Ruby Lipstick in Pink Pepper (£11.50) are lovely.
Hair
- To get Halles' full volumed height Sebastian Microweb Fibre (£12.29/$8.98) is amazing at giving texture and hold to tall styles without looking like it's been glued. It can also be used to smooth down the sides.
- Spray with a light, dry hair spray for ultimate confidence, I love Sebastian Shaper Zero Gravity Spray (£12.29/$7).
