Hey everyone! I return today from the land of the sick. I have been horribly ill since Sunday with a stomach flu and it has NOT been pleasant I tell you. I missed the Oscars which feels so weird for me-I never miss watching them. I've finally been able to eat some dry toast today. Woohoo! Small victories! And since I have a bit of toast energy going on, I thought I'd try to get a post done too. Let's see if this toast can fuel my brain!

Remember last week when I showed you my two fave products from the Avon ZENERGY Spring 2013 Collection? Well, today I have another product that's part of the collection that's available to order in March.

These are the Avon Shine Attract Lipsticks($12 CAN).

As you can see, they are a lipstick that's surrounded by a fruity scented gloss and are infused with vitamin E.

The AVON Shine Attract Lipsticks are basically a lipstick with a glossy finish-kind of like a lip balm on your lips. The core of each one is pretty pigmented actually, as you can see by the swatches.

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick Swatches: Exhale, Make My Day, Enliven

Well, I don't know. I think this is one of the first times I'm not really all that excited about an Avon product! But I shouldn't be surprised really, as I'm not a fan of these kinds of lipsticks. I hate the Clarins ones as you know. I just don't get these kinds of lip products. They take a lot of work to get the colour to show up evenly, and also your lips have to be in tip-top shape otherwise they catch on any dry parts.

Exhale
Surprisingly, this shade Exhale was the best one! It looks horrible in the swatch-I had to rub and rub to get it to show up, but it seems to work on the lips. I guess because it is the least pigmented of the three, so that means it's easier to spread out onto the lips evenly without a lot of work. This one I like and recommend! It's a pretty rose rosy pink with some slight gold tones.

Make My Day
Make My Day I wanted to love, I really did. It's such a great coral colour, but being the most pigmented of the three is the problem-when you apply it goes on unevenly since the gloss part sheers it out in places. You have to use your fingers to even it out, and what's the point of that I say?

Enliven
Enliven is a milky baby pink shade and it's just...bad. The pale colour core catches on any dry parts, and settles in fine lip lines no matter how much I tried to spread it around.

I can only recommend the shade Exhale as it performed the best for me. I guess these are a cheaper version of the Clarins ones, so if you've always wanted to try those, then give one of these a shot as they are cheaper. Now, if your lips are in better shape than mine, then they'll perform better I bet. Mine are really dry from winter, dry Alberta air, not eating and drinking anything for two days...you get the picture. But honestly, there are lip balms that give better colour coverage for less money. If you still want to try one, then you know the drill-call 1-800-265-AVON or go online at www.avon.ca.

AND I'm exhausted now. The toast has obviously run out...so I'm crawling back to bed and hoping it stays down. Cross your fingers for me.

Disclamer: I was sent this product to review by PR/Company. Love it or leave it, but my review and opinions are my own thoughts and words, thank you very much
