I loved Tangerine Tango from last year so much that I didn't think that it could be improved upon - that was of course before I found out that the 2013 colour is Emerald! As a redhead, this is a total go-to colour for me so an entire collection of products that will look great on me... awesome! Even if you aren't a huge green fan, you can still add a bit of emerald to your life with a bit of eyeliner or even on your nails!
There are so many products in the collection that the post would have been too long to list them all so here are a few of my faves:
Sephora+Pantone Universe The Color of the Year Collection - $82 - get a taste of all the different products at a great price with a set that includes: Color Grid Shadow Block Bionic; Color Code Prismatic Shadow Block; Lightspeed Glitter Dust; Graphic Sculpt Waterproof Jumbo Eyeliner; Color Cube Lid Stain; Color Watt Highlighting Mascara - (they can all be bought separately too but would then cost $135)
Mini Graphic Effect Lacquers - $22 - these three mini polishes are the same emerald shade but with three different effects - from silver sparkles to forest-green shimmers to a shiny glimmer!
Glitter Strobe Eyeliner Set - $22 - four mini liners in different finishes including: matte, metallic, holographic and shimmer - with a brush applicator for precise application.
Spectra Blend Eye Brush Roll - $24 - includes an angled blush brush, eye shadow brush and blending brush housed in a jeweled toned canvas brush roll for protection and easy portability.
Even if you're opposed to having the colour emerald anywhere on your being you can still love the Color Theory Sculpting Blush - $29 - featuring a duet of complementary tones especially formulated to harmonize with your emerald looks. Enriched with actives to preserve skin elasticity and packed with brown seaweed extract for a soft and supple complexion. And if you're on the go, the slim compact includes a hidden mirror that snaps magnetically in place for easy application anywhere, anytime.
And get your emerald with the brush you use to apply it - Color Sculpting Kabuki Brush - $22 - provides medium to full coverage of your favorite blush, bronzer, mineral powders, and setting powders with synthetic bristles can be used wet or dry.
Available now at Sephora and sephora.ca.
