Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Trios have three finishes: a pearl, a matte, and a glitter. They are wet/dry eyeshadows and do NOT have any parabens in them, so all you allergic green fiends need not worry! What I find interesting is that they contain Rose Extract, Squalane, and Glyceryl Caprylate which all have moisturizing properties. Hey?? These green eyeshadows are GOOD for my lids! I kind of like the idea that my old eyelids are getting taken care of and staying smooth and young when embracing my inner Kermit!
Swatches of these pretty greens on my fingers look AWESOME in the sun:
On my arm, they do seem to lack pigmentation though, especially the matte hunter green shade.
But have no fear! They work really well on the eye! Nicely pigmented, they blend really easily including the dark forest green with baby blue glitter. The pearl mint eyeshadow can be a bit patchy if I'm being picky, but since it's so freakin' pretty on the eye I'll let it slide. It just brightens up your eyes like you wouldn't believe!
I'm wearing the mint all over the lid, the hunter matte green blended in the outer V, and the glitter forest green is lining the bottom lash line and about halfway lining the top lash line.
The Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Trio in Helmüt lasts all day over a primer with no creasing or fading.
