In addition to picking up the Flower Beauty velvet lip colors, I picked up a few of the high-shine lip colors as well. I figured I was going to end up liking these more than the velvet finish. Didn't happen. These were great in pigmentation but not that comfortable on the lips. See more photos and swatches below!
Sweet Peony and Coral Floret |
More information on these from the Walmart website:
Flower Kiss Stick Luxury Lip Colors have emollient oils to improve
shine for a rich, creamy application. Which results in pure, intense
color payoff.
Flower Kiss Stick High-Shine Lip Colors:
- Ultra-smooth finish
- Volumizing effect on lips
- Extreme shine
The high shine was there for Coral Floret but Sweet Peony didn't have much shine as I expected. The pigmentation is amazing as you can tell from the swatches. These were not as comfortable on the lips though as the velvet lipsticks. The color did last for hours and they are still good for the price. I will still use these for Spring/Summer since the shades are gorgeous.
The volumizing effect that they claim to have seems to not be there. Maybe that is just me, my lips don't need volume so I didn't notice any difference.
Flower Beauty Kiss Stick Velvet Lip Colors retail for $6.98 each and can be found at Walmart stores or online.
Let me know which lipsticks you prefer from Flower Beauty or which you would try!
