Shu Uemura's latest collaboration is with 21-year old Japanese illustrator OB who designed dreamy fantasy princess characters for the brand. There are four cleansing oils in the limited edition packaging that I was sent and want to show you:
The blue Ocean Princess adorns the Shu Uemura Whitefficient Clear Brightening Gentle Cleansing Oil($89 CAD) that revives dull complexions and contains a combination of Mito-White Complex and Vitamin C to brighten and even out the skin tone.
The green Forest Princess adorns the Shu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium($89 CAD) which is the #1 selling Shu Uemura cleansing oil in the world. It has Green Tea and specially selected Gingko Leaf Extract which are anti-oxidants that help to give radiance to fatigued skin.
The pink Cherry Blossom princess adorns the Shu Uemura Fresh Pore Clarifying Gentle Cleansing Oil($79CAD) that's for oily and combo skins. It's the lightest oil and gently refines and cleans pores.
There's also a yellow Moon Princess that adorns the High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil.
If you've never tried a Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil, this would be a great time to get one! There's one that will suit your skin and I promise it won't break you out. I think they are the ultimate beauty junkie skincare product!
There are three Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Lipsticks($36 CAD) in the collection including a pink and a coral, and I have the shade Dream Orange to show you:
I love how this lipstick is looking at me haha! SO CUTE. And the colour! Well, take a look at the swatch:
It's a muted, soft orange-a bit of a dreamy orange, wouldn't you say? This is a really easy to wear orange lipstick and I think it would look good on anybody.
The Rouge Unlimited formula is super creamy and moisturizing and is nicely pigmented too. It feels like a lip balm actually, and my super dry lips love the formula. It doesn't travel, and lasts a couple of hours on my lips. Yup, this one is a keeper!
There are four Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousses($46 CAD), one for each princess and I have two to show you, the POREraser in Beige(the yellow bottle) and the Brightening Mousse in Pink Purple(the blue bottle):
UV Underbase Mousses have SPF 30 and are something to experience! They are indeed a mousse, that just melts into your skin when rubbed in. They feel amazingly light on the skin too and have a slight sunscreen smell to them, which I like actually.
The yellow one is the Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse POREraser in Beige: it's for light to medium skin tones and gives a poreless, almost matte finish to the face.
The pinkish/lavender one is the brightening formula and really brightens up your face!
I know some people thinks my skin is perfect, but it is not! This is to prove it to you! My forehead has been particularly ANGRY and RED lately(and I have huge pores up there), so I thought I'd show you a before and after with the Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse POREraser in Beige:
HEYYY? Look at that! Redness is gone, pores are diminished and my forehead looks WAY better. See how it mattifies too? AMAZING STUFF. I am stocking up on bottles of this one for sure! It just evens out my face and makes it look pretty darn close to being poreless, which is a feat in itself! In fact, I'd even leave the house with JUST this on my face. It looks so natural!
The ob for Shu Uemura Collection should be on counters in April according to the info I have, but I do see that it's available to order online at the new Shu Uemura Canadian site, www.shuuemura.ca, so maybe you can get these at the counter already. I don't see the UV Under Base Mousses online though-I think those are only at the counter.
P.S. I'm sure you've all heard that Google is discontinuing it's RSS Reader, so if you still want to keep reading Beauty Reflections, follow me on Bloglovin, or one of the other options to stay in touch!
See anything you'd LOVE to get? You gotta get one of the UV Under Bases. There's even one that's called BB Beige with a bit of coverage. Yup, I am loading up on that one too!
*Disclamer: I was sent this product to review by PR/Company. Love it or leave it, but my review and opinions are my own thoughts and words, thank you very much
