I don't know what your weekend plans are—maybe you're going out to dinner, maybe doing something for St. Patty's Day. But I'm sure you're doing something a cute ponytail would be appropriate for, and actress Adrianne Palicki just walked a red carpet with a nice little twist on one that just may inspire you.
You'll just have to ignore the hairpin sticking out there—I'm assuming her stylist stuck that in to hold a lock down while he/she misted it with hairspray and forgot it was there.
But once you look past that you'll see she's got a very loose braid going on. So loose, in fact, that it almost doesn't read as a braid at all. What I like about this: It adds a little texture without looking like just another front braid.
Got that? So braid a small area of your hair, but keep it loose and not-perfect. The goal is to have it almost disappear into the rest of your ponytail. Very casual-cool, no?
