When I heard about the new Catrice polish shades, I knew I was gonna go after Shopping Day at Bluemingdales fist. I love this kind of blue shades, but you know how colors sometimes look totally different on the internet than in real life. This one didn't disappoint. At least not color wise...
Catrice, Shopping Day at Bluemingdales, 2 coats
New Catrice bottles are a bit different from the old ones: they seem a bit smaller from the previous ones, but they both contain 10 mL of polish, there's a Catrice sign on the top of the lid now and the rim of the lid feels sharper which I don't like very much. Another new thing is the brush. I didn't think it was possible, but I think it's best to not underestimate Catrice - the brush is even worse from the previous bushy excuse for a brush. How do they do it? Do they listen to the consumers and bloggers at all? Their first ''non-innovative'' brush was just OK and there was no need to make a better one. Well, if they could make a better one, I'd be happy about it, but they didn't. I don't see anything special about the new formula either. It's just a polish. And it's still a bit sheer after 2 coats. At least this shade.
To sum it up: I don't like the change at all. It feels the same as it did before, only now I have to apply nail polish with even worse brush. At least the color is nice...
Have you tried the new Catrice polishes? What do you think about them?
