There's a new player in the Canadian Beauty Box scene - Wantable - with a couple of notable differences from the other boxes we already know (and sometimes love) in that they also offer a jewelry box as well as a makeup one - the other thing that is different is the price, Wantable is much pricier at $40 a box (or $36 a month is you subscribe) but at the same time it is made up of full sized products and not the samples we are used to seeing in other boxes. This can be good or bad - the lower priced boxes with deluxe sample sizes allows you to try new things without a lot of commitment - on the other hand it's a great score to find something you love and have it be full sized...
A good example of this would be the makeup box that I received - out of all the products it contained I was only familiar with one brand - Paula Dorf - which I quite like but the product itself was underwhelming - a clear Brow Gel.
New to me was a Be a Bomshell Blush in Beach Please which I love and a 29 Cosmetics Reserve Moisturizing Lipstick in Wine Nectar which is also very nice. Also in my box was a Real Techniques Kabuki Brush, Color Club Nail Polish in Flamingo Pink, Cailyn Gel Eyeliner in Green and 29 Cosmetics Skin Care Samples.
For the 2 products I did really like I got my $40 worth if you go by what the retail prices would have been but I'll have to see a few more boxes before I can decide if the higher price is worthwhile or not.
You can check out all the details and order if you are so inclined at www.wantable.co.
