It's an early Easter this year! And here in Edmonton, it's DEFINITELY going to be a WHITE EASTER. Sigh.
Still, if you're looking for some Easter Treats other than chocolate bunnies like Mr. Solid(gotta love Mr. Solid though), then Lush can help you out!
The Brightside Bubble Bar ($8.95): When I opened this up and took a whiff, I couldn't place my finger on the smell. I even asked Marky what she thought. It reminded us if something but what we couldn't figure out what. And then Jessica of Beautezine mentioned that it smelled like Orange Tic-Tacs and THAT'S IT! It's scented with a trio of uplifting and invigorating oils: Sicilian mandarin, tangerine and bergamot oil and just a squeeze of lemon. It smells orangey and zingy, just like the Tic-Tacs! You just crumble a bit under the running tap and it turns the water into a red and orange with white bubbles. It's quite an energizing and happy scent too-perfect for Easter!
Easter Egg Hunt Soap ($9.00 for 100g): When you see this soap in the store, it looks like a green lawn with coloured Easter Eggs in it. Really cute! It's scented with orange, raspberry, lemon and violet leaf-really fresh and clean smelling! It makes a nice lather too and leaves you feeling squeaky clean.
Carrot Re-Usable Bubble Bar ($7.95): Reusable bubble bars can be used up to 7 times which is really great because you'll want to get as much use out of this carrot! You just swish it around the bath by holding the green top, and then save it for another bath. Your bath won't smell like carrots either, because there's fruity oils like buchu, lemon and bergamot. But there is a little bit of carrot oil in there, which is rich in vitamins and will smooth and moisturise your skin.
I think these would be so cute to put in an Easter basket! Just don't skimp on the chocolate though! When I was little, I was all about the chocolate. Easter was one of the few times that we got chocolate and my basket was STUFFED with Mr. Solid, Mr. Hollow, Mr. Nutty...you name it and I ATE it. Boy I miss the days when I could eat all that chocolate and not care!
You can find these and other Easter Treats at Lush!
