It’s true: I’ve always loved analyzing the ingredients of skin care products, long before the FutureDerm blog started in 2007. But ever since I’ve started to formulate FutureDerm products, my love has only grown stronger! One of the gems I’ve uncovered through our work is caffeic acid. Like ferulic acid, caffeic acid is classified as a hydroxycinnamic acid, from a class of micronutrient antioxidant compounds known as polyphenols.
