Question of the Week - Do you think cosmetic ads should have a disclaimer if they use excessive photoshop, false lashes and such? Personally, I think too much photoshop isn't good for anyone. Mascara ads are by far the worst, followed by skincare ads. I think it drives a perception that false beauty is attainable, which just makes you wish you lived up to the ads, which is a vicious cycle of spending and self-loathing. Everyone knows ads are photoshopped, but it's still hard to understand that you will never look like that, even if you buy the product and do everything they tell you to. What do you think?
