LOOK! Spring has finally sprung in Edmonton:

Yeah, that's what the grass looks like now haha! Pretty ugly, hey? BUT the snow is melting which is a good thing!

There's nothing like a new season that makes me want to add some new and fresh makeup products to my routine. Especially spring. Spring REALLY makes me want new things. Thank goodness for Walmart. It's a place I can get my beauty fix without breaking the bank!

First up, I love getting some new skincare for spring. As the weather warms up, I don't need the heavy and really hydrating skincare I use in winter. Aveeno Positively Radiant Makeup Removing Cleanser($9.47 CDN) fits the bill! It's light, airy, and works well with my Clarisonic at taking off all of my makeup, plus helps keep skin looking radiant.

Olay Long Live Moisture Satin Finish Lotion($11.67 CDN) is new this spring and WOW this is some kind of great moisturizer! It really does leave a smooth, satin finish to the skin and keeps moisture in all day. It makes a WONDERFUL primer before foundation!

Equate is the Walmart brand, and these cotton cleansing makeup pads ($2.00 CDN) are pretty fantastic. They don't shred and leave behind cotton threads on your face and eyes because seriously that is not  sooo coral (cool-still trying!). And the Equate Facial Cleansing Towlettes($4.67 CDN) are awesome and a quick way to remove your makeup. You gotta love the container that you can keep refilling too!

Nothing like a pretty new washcloth to get your spirits up for spring, and this Walmart Hometrends Face Cloth($3.47 CDN) makes me happy in purple! Spring is a great time to replace some makeup items like eyeliner and mascara. Everyone need a great black eyeliner, and this Physician's Formula Black Eye Definer Eyeliner($6.58 CDN) is an affordable option. It's creamy and easy to smudge, but it's also waterproof and stays put all day. I'm personally in LOVE with Almay mascaras and am a huge fan of the Almay Get Up and Grow Mascara, but this Almay One Coat Triple Effect Mascara($6.68 CDN) comes a close second:

The mascara wand is really unique, with one side having longer bristles than the other. I like using the shorter bristles first to apply a coat , and then using the longer bristles on the other side to comb it out. I like the viscosity of Almay mascaras and they actually really remind me of YSL mascaras-a thicker mascara formula that volumizes lashes. With this one I don't get a lot of length, but I'd rather have more volume than length truth be told. The only problem for with Almay mascaras is that they tend to smudge a bit on my bottom lashes(actually most mascaras do lately) so I don't wear them on my bottom lashes.

A new lip balm for spring is a must, and Burt's Bees is where I always turn to. This Hibiscus shade is awesome and give my lips a hint of colour and moisture. LOVE.
