Sheesh, could I write a longer post title or what?
I have two products from the Shu Uemura Blossom Spring 2013 Collection to show you today! It is a 30th Anniversary Collection that's inspired by budding flowers. Shu Uemura Collections have to be the most unique in shade selection I think-they sure aren't afraid of using ANY colour that's for sure!
Shu Uemura Unmask Palette in Pink($85CAN) and Rouge Unlimited Bright Orange Lipstick($35CAN) |
The palette design is adorable! Love the pastel mask artwork!
Shu Uemura Unmask Palette in Pink is an all matte palette, and these shadows are something else my friends!

The Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Lipstick in Bright Orange is my first ever Shu Lipstick:
It's bright orange that's for sure! It's really creamy, semi-opaque with a slight shimmer and glossy finish.
It's very light weight in feeling, and is really moisturizing. Almost like putting coloured orange butter onto your lips haha!
But, you really have to make sure your lips are in tip-top shape before applying it. It can a look a little patchy and catch on any dry spots on your lips. I get about 4 hours of wear if applied straight from the tube. I love really rubbing it into my lips so that it looks like more of a stain, which tones down the orange a bit. A bit. I mean, it is called Bright Orange right?
I love these two Shu Uemura Blossom Dream Spring 2013 Collection! I'm happy that there's no bright green and pastel pinks in it, although the other Shu Unmasked Palettes in Green and Blue do have more pastel colours like that in them if that's your kind of spring palette. Not that there's anything wrong with those kinds of spring colours! Makeup is meant to be fun, right? For me, this one is perfect and I think it's the most wearable of the three anyways! I'd wear this one all year round!
Here in Canada you can get Shu Uemura Products
at Holt Renfrew.
I'm starting to feel the pull of spring beauty folks! Even though this morning it was -26C here in Edmonton. IT JUST WON'T STOP I TELL YOU.
Have you started to get into the Spring Makeup Collections yet? Is it warmer where you are? Can I come for a visit if it is?
*Disclamer: I was sent this product to review by PR/Company. Love it or leave it, but my review and opinions are my own thoughts and words, thank you very much.
