Are looking to spurce up your wardrobe for the spring and summer or find a great gift for that hard to shop for on your list? Check out 5280 Magazine’s April 2013 Issue. 5280 editor’s Julie Dugdale and Daliah Singer put together a neighborhood shopping guide featuring an eclectic group of niche boutiques. This guide may show you either hidden or new shops that every Denverite needs to try. We are looking forward to hitting some “new” spots for us and some spots we have known about. A new one for us is Wax Trax Records “Go here for: Records, young and old, and a waft of that delicious old-LP smell; note the separate buildings—and addresses—for vinyl and CDs.” They are located in Capitol Hill.
We also plan on visiting Reverie Living, “Go here for: Special occasion gifts (new house, new baby, new job) without the boutique prices” and Inspyre Boutique, “The details: Twenty- and thirtysomethings will feel at home here—every item is under $100—and they’ll appreciate the one-stop-shop vibe: Love that navy blue mullet dress? A five-minute scan will get you a belt, blazer, and chunky beaded necklace to finish the look.” Both are located in LoHi, one of our favorite places to grab some food.
