I know you're like me and have longingly stared at the Givenchy gondola (yeah that's what they're called) at Sephora, too scared to touch anything because WHAT if you fall in love with everything there?
What if?
Yeah, BIG MISTAKE my friends. BIG MISTAKE. Because you and me have been missing out on some of the most AMAZING makeup ever.
Today, I'm going to talk about the new Givenchy Écrin Privé Private Felted Nudes($78.00 CDN) Eyeshadow Quad from the HOTELPRIVE Spring/Summer 2013 Collection:

LOOK AT THAT COMPACT SHINE! And the stud look to it appeals to my inner rebel girl A LOT. If I could have studs on everything I'd do it. Because you know, studs are SOOO CORAL. (Gonna make it happen folks. Trying really hard haha!)
The heavyweight case is made of 137 grams of silver zamak and is designed after patterns put out by Givenchy's couture house.

Three GORGEOUS classic shades that are mattes, plus one sparkly, glittery sequin shade is what's inside this little gem!
This teeny, tiny brush that comes with the compact is so darn cute but AMAZING. Seriously, even at this size it trumps some of the full size brushes I have. It's really great for lining my bottom lash line with eyeshadow and that will forever be its job from now on. Bye bye pencil brushes!
Had to include finger swatches to show you how soft and pigmented the shadows are!

Givenchy Écrin Privé Private Felted Nudes makes such a classic, smoky eye look really easy to do!
Of course, you can just use this for an easy neutral, light look for everyday as well. I've really built up the shades for impact here, but they can be applied sheerly. The colours are just so classic that I find myself reaching for this quad quite a lot! And I think that's why I love Givenchy Écrin Privé Private Felted Nudes and think that it's worth the luxury price tag-it is classic and won't go out of style ever. I like bright colours as you know, but if you are investing in luxury brands like Givenchy, you don't want the shades to be all crazy trendy and not wearable season after season. This is luxury makeup at its finest and this palette will be with you for a long, long time!
Here in Canada, you can find Givenchy at Sephora! And right now would be a good time to pick up something with the 15% VIB sale going on!
What's the most expensive piece of makeup you own? And was it worth it? Do you still use it?
*Disclamer: I was sent this product to review by PR/Company. Love it or leave it, but my review and opinions are my own thoughts and words, thank you very much.
