To take your ponytail from "just from the gym" to "night on the town", try this two-section method, inspired by Selena Gomez. It's the best of both worlds - nice lift and the perfect waves.
Here's how to get the look in 8 easy steps...
Step 1. Start by creating a “mohawk” section at the top of your head. (Use the arch of your eyebrow as a guide)
Step 2. Next pull the rest of your hair back into a ponytail and secure with an elastic band.
Step 3. Mist your roots with a medium hold hairspray.
Step 4. Tease the base of your hair to create a nice lift.
Step 5. Now pull the top section back to meet the other ponytail.
Step 6. Join the two sections together with an elastic band.
Step 7. Wrap a small piece of hair around the elastic to hide it, secure with a small bobby pin.
Step 8. Finish with a few mists of a texturizing spray to add a little life to the back.
