Beauty Find - Pixi Glow Peel Pads

Pixi made me smile when I saw that they had expanded their amazing Glow line. *Read our review of the Pixi Face Glow Mist here. Their newest product are the Pixi Glow Peel Pads.

The Pixi Glow Peel Pads contain 20% Glycolic Acid (which is 15% more than in their Glow Tonic by the way).  This is a peel that makes a real difference in the look and feel of skin.
Since this is a peel, I took care to follow the instructions to the letter.  I swiped the pads, which have a good amount of product, but are not dripping wet,  across my skin and left the product on for no more than 5 minutes (because I can tolerate acids well, but the time given on the product directions is 2-3 minutes, which I recommend you start with).

I felt a prominent tingling sensation, but my skin didn't burning or become irritated.  After I splashed my face with water to remove, all sensations of tingling/warmth disappeared.

The next step is to wait a few minutes before adding additional skin care products from your regimen.  My skin felt very smooth, and a bit tighter in the drier areas of my face, like my cheeks, but not overly dry or flaky.

I added an essence and moisturizer and was very impressed with how great my skin looked throughout the day.  Plumper, brighter and more toned. I also got great results using on my neck and decolletage as well.

This is a perfect at-home (or on the road because of it's travel friendly packaging), treatment to give your skin that healthily "boost" during the week.  It's recommended for use 1x week, (but again you may want to experiment to find the best frequency for you).
