Kiehl's Cilantro + Orange Extract Pollutant Purifying Masque  This masque is part of Kiehl's new line, Nature Powered Masks.



This is the perfect mask to end the day after spending long hours in outdoor environments or dry offices, traveling in planes or trains - or just after a long week.  This mask uses real Cilantro and Orange Extract, for an overnight treatment designed to defend against impurities and city pollution. It will work for all skin types, except very sensitive or acne prone.


Kiehl's Cilantro + Orange Extract Pollutant Purifying Masque has a texture that is simply heaven.  It's thick, creamy with some textured grains and has a slight oil/gel feel to it. It felt lovely when I applied it to my skin at night before bedtime.  I put a very thick layer on, and relaxed about 10-15 minutes.  Then I patted/wiped off some of the residue with a tissue and then went to sleep in it.  Using this method, I never had any product on my pillow cases or sheets. In the morning, I simply rinsed my face with face with water and patted dry. As for the scent, there's a noticeable amount of the cilantro and citrus fragrance that comes through (not overwhelming), and I loved how relaxing it was.



But what was even more amazing was how my skin looked the next morning.It was glowing, soft and smooth, and completely hydrated in all my drier areas.  My skin felt so calm and fresh, no matter how much sleep I got the night before.



If you aren't the type that likes to sleep with product on their faces, this mask also works just as well applied for a shorter amount of time and then rinsed off completely, before bed for instance.

I'm now addicted and reach for it at least 3-4 times a week.  This is a mask that's worth every penny. Treat yourself to it.  - RLB
