Kylie Jenner Revealed the Acne Product She Swears by (It's Under $20!)
Kylie Jenner isn't shy when it comes to revealing her skin care and makeup tricks, but it's her most recent disclosure that will likely end up being her most useful yet. Jenner took to Snapchat last night to give her audience a look into her favorite at-home acne treatment, and it turns out to be much more accessible and affordable than we would've ever thought. In the video, Jenner holds the acne product, Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, up for display while advising, "If any of you have a little pimple, this is a drying lotion that I love." Oh, and did we mention it's only $17?
Although anything relating to acne (including applying zit treatments on them) might not seem like a luxurious skin care moment, in true Kylie Jenner form she made applying the formula look like the ultimate example of self-pampering. A second Snapchat video shows her in a plush robe applying small bits of the product onto each breakout while humming softly to herself. Not exactly the image we see when thinking about getting rid of blemishes but it's an important lesson to learn that any seemingly dull skin care routine can be transformed into a glamorous experience. Since Kylie is known to often host sponsored product features on her social media channels, we're unsure if this is an entirely unsolicited mention. Nonetheless, there's a lot of legitimacy when it comes to the efficacy of Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion, so it's definitely a recommendation worth trying. The formula consists of a mix of drying ingredients like camphor, sulfur, and zinc oxide, coupled with soothing calamine and exfoliating salicylic acid. And her tip about dipping a cotton swab into the formula without shaking the bottle is spot-on.
Let's just say there's a reason it still ranks high on the list of our all-time favorite acne treatments. It's unbelievable blemish-shrinking abilities work.
