The sneak peeks on Instagram just keep rolling in! This one is from one of my favorite accounts to follow, @beautylogicblog (if you're not following her, definitely check her out...she has the best sneak peeks!). At first glance I thought these were glosses, but she says they're liquid lipsticks so I'm thinking they'll be more pigmented! They're coming out in May and will be $2.99 each.

Names from left to right: Chrysanthiums the Word, Coming Up Roses, peony express, Indigo Your Own Way, My Tulips Are Sealed, Days Of Fuschia Passed.

What do you think? Are you excited for these?

Kylie Jenner Has a Doppelganger and We Got All Her Beauty Secrets

There's nothing the web loves more than a good celebrity look-alike (reference this Adele twin or the Leonardo DiCaprio stand-in who just bagged a major modeling gig). On the Kardashian side of things, everyone just freaked out over how much London- and Dubai-based Nina Vee, a raven-haired beauty who has amassed nearly 57,000 Instagram followers, looks like Kylie Jenner. And while she's owned the comparison—her YouTube channel is full of Kylie-like makeup tutorials—the comparison isn't one she sees or has ever purposefully gone after.

"I personally don't see the resemblance, as we have very different features," she told us. "I have no issue with the comparisons, but it's when people start to get harsh and say that I purposely copy her—that bothers me at times because I'm just being me." While Vee says she's never been mistaken for Jenner in public (yet), the comparisons on Instagram came swiftly after she made a recent hair color switch.

"I started blogging around the same time Kylie started to get a lot of attention," she says. "I had blond hair when I started, and it was when I went back to my natural black roots that I began to get the comments."

Vee in a camo jacket, showing off a fashion sense that also shares some similarities with the Kardashian clan

Studying Vee's makeup, it's easy to see she's got a Kardashian vibe going on. She's a pro at contouring, loves a dramatic eye, and isn't afraid of foundation (check out her stellar response to people who say she wears too much makeup).

"I think makeup is an art and a way of expressing yourself," she says. "My love for it started when I was going to college. I'd experiment a lot and watch a ton of YouTube videos, which is how I eventually started my own." Of those how-to videos, Nina says her smoky eye tutorial is a favorite with fans, as are general posts where she opens up her makeup bag to showcase favorite products.

Obviously we needed her to go more in-depth. How does she get that Kylie-look so many women are undeniably after? (We mean, it's clearly a thing considering how fast Jenner's lip kits are selling out.) Read on for Vee's best tricks.

Contouring
It's what you do before you contour that matters. "I love to layer a bronzer before I contour. It helps blend the shades together to create a seamless look," she said. "I also bake under where I've contoured to sharpen the look." See her how-to video here.
Favorite product: Kat Von D Shade + Light Palette, $46, sephora.com

Brows
For a day look, Vee uses a pencil and sets her brows with clear gel. "For more of a statement, I'll use Anastasia's waterproof gel."
Favorite products: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, $21, anastasiabeverlyhills.com, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade, $18, net-a-porter.com

Lips
"My favorite product is Rimmel's lip liner in Cappuccino. I discovered it over a year ago, and it's become a staple. It goes with every nude lip color I wear." Her tutorial shows the exact process she uses, lining the exterior of her lips before coloring in the lip on the outside corners. She then uses a lipstick in a slightly lighter hue and finishes with another round of liner. The lighter color on the inside gives an ombre effect, making your lips look fuller.
Favorite product: Rimmel 1000 Kisses Liner, $4, feelunique.com

Lashes
"This is one of my favorite parts of doing my makeup, and my current obsession is Lilly Lashes," she said, revealing that she uses a pair of tweezers to help situate the delicate strips properly. She applies them after she's done eyeliner and a coat of mascara.
Favorite product: Lilly Lashes in Miami, $30, lillylashes.com

PS: If Kylie Jenner is your beauty muse, you need to hear her makeup guy explain the #1 mistake women make when penciling their eyebrows.

Review: Pearlesque Box for March 2016 + COUPON–Meet My Newest Organic Skin Box Obsession!

Pearlesque Box for March 2016.jpeg
Pearlesque Box for March 2016 is valued at $82 of  PURE organic skin care!

Beauty subscription box lovers wanting a unique monthly skin care box of pure organic products need to meet Pearlesque Box.  This subscription brings a different selection of the world’s nontoxic, natural beauty home to you so you can feel good about the products that come in contact with your bloodstream.  What attracts me to the concept is you get to sample revitalizing beauty from countries and high quality companies that you might never think of visiting from the convenience of your home like what arrived with the March 2016 box.

Every month the Pearlesque Box will bring you a new region of the globe to share with you. You can also expect a minimum of one or two full-size products and one to three travel sizes, but never will you see samples among their selections.  Just as pleasing is the fact that the products in each box are specifically chosen to work together so that your skin can truly thrive with an ample supply of each to get you through until the next box is sent.  A monthly subscription runs $39.95 with free USA shipping.  Other countries can also order, but international shipping rates apply.

The box this month focuses on the beauty in Canada.  All the three of the full-size premium organic products are from Skin Essence Organics.  This company prides its line on using natural ingredients that are powerful enough to rejuvenate cells and feed the capillaries to result in healthier skin.  The only thing that I wished each product featured on the packaging was an expiration date.

The Fresh-Facial Cleanser ($26.99)  is full-size of 4.05 oz. with a pump dispenser. This is a fabulous treat for the face, especially my dry and often sensitive complexion, with how gently this peppermint scented product removed makeup and rinsed it away.  I used about the size of a quarter’s worth and what I noticed was how smooth and soft my face became afterwards.

The next Skin Essence Organics product that was included was the Nourish Facial Moisturizer (Combination/Aging Skin) retailing for $31.99.  This was full-size, (1.01 oz.) bottle with a pump to dispense the serum with.  This moisturizer is a light facial oil with a clean, fresh scent that I just started using, but really like for how it absorbed and hydrated my skin without feeling greasy.  Be sure to shake it first, otherwise, this product does settle and you do want those nourishing extracts and minerals to work to your advantage. Rosehip, neroli, vitamin C are just a few of its beneficial ingredients for stimulating and increasing collagen.

Last but not least, there was the .34 oz. bottle of Skin Essence Organics Ocular Eye Serum ($22.99), full-size.  The product has specific extracts and minerals to target dark circles, reduce puffiness and deal with fine lines.  You also need to give this serum a brisk shake before applying one drop underneath each eye. To get the most out of this serum, you gently massage it into the area for about ten seconds for the deepest absorption.  Again, I haven’t been using these products all that long, but I did try it a few times and noticed it did help my allergic eyes deflate somewhat from their usual morning puffiness, which thrilled me.  I can’t wait to see what else this serum will do the longer I use it for the look of my eyes, but I am already impressed.

With all the beauty products that we use each day can you honestly say that you trust the ingredients that are in all of them?  Consumers these days need to become detectives and read labels carefully if we intend to keep our skin and bodies healthy from flooding them with chemicals that could possibly harm us.  With a Pearlesque Box subscription, you can take the worry out of that equation!

Honestly, I am a fan of the quality and $82.00 value of this Pearlesque Box. The deadline to sign up for this Canada beauty box is March 5 so hurry to get this month’s selection. In fact, If you enter my coupon code, NUTS15 at checkout, you will save 15% off of your first box.  This coupon only applies to signing up for a subscription, not a gift box.

If you feel the same way about preserving the health of your skin and body, then do yourself a favor and subscribe to Pearlesque Box!

The new Garnier Whole Blends haircare line has arrived at Walgreens. I spotted them yesterday when I was in store and took a few photos of the display. Also, I wanted to mention that right now at Walgreens, haircare is buy 2 get 1 free with your balance rewards card, and these are included! So you can get three products for $7.98. I ended up bringing home the Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter shampoo and conditioner (it smells amaaaazing) and got the Honey mask for free!
